As many of you know, I am in the 5th year of a 2 year restoration. Last week was the big moment when SP #849 fired up for the first time in 20 years. There were a few leaks; some tightening of connections and exhaust needed, some lines bled, but it did a fast lap around the shop :yesnod: and is getting prepped for the trip to the interior shop. I'm thinking by the end of next week! I will certainly post a ton of pics when I get a chance to see it and take them. Woo Hoo
 
Boy, got all excited.
Figured an unknown Southern Pacific "C" class 2-8-0 has been squirreled away in your shop for 20 years and finally is under steam again.

Then I read the sig line.

That's just as exciting!
