just checking Horler - interestingly, 1974 figures - 8422 LHD cars - compared to 10311 - 1973 and 11516 -1972 qnd 7553- 1971.

curiously, it also lists 1922 - 1974 LHD 1500 Midgets (pg 136) - didn't know they started that far back

Oh and 13414 1976 Midgets - wot I got - the mostest year of all
Yep, my 1953 TD is a "Midget" also!!

let me rephrase that. in 1974 there are also 1922 LHD 1500 Midgets made in addition to the 8422 1275s.

Though I do know the TD is a Midget too - some controversy in recycling the name as I recall

Tony, do I need to remove you from the cool, 1974 list?? hehe

I was looking at your signature, and a 1974 was listed in the 20+ cars you have.
Here are the Midgets I own:

1953 MG TD Midget
1963 MkI Midget
1974 MkIII Midget
1976 1500 Midget

Not as many as some, but a few! Don't remove me from the '74 list...hehehe
