Well my engine is back in and running one small oil leak at the bottom of the timing cover. I think the wife is going to be a happy camper with the extra power 1293cc. Any ideas on a fix for oil leak the cover was dead clean and so was the plate with some ultra blue.

Way to go Mark, that first breath of life is always exciting!

Just curious, how much did you bore it to get the extra CC's? Mine is .030 over and has a street grind cam kit from Comp Cams. I was on the Comp Cam site today and I don't think they even offer a cam for an MG of any kind now. It was all done before I got it and the engine has never been back in the car. A lot to sort out on this basket case I have.
