Entered 59Diamond in the Coronado Speerfest and Car Show. Got a 1st place trophy in my class and got to take a victory lap around the 11/2 mile track and pass in front of the grand stand tooting my horn in front of my adoring fans. Its been a great year so far with 4 Trophies and I might get to be in the local Bonitafest Parade on Saturday, with my 5 year old Grandson riding shotgun and waving to the crowd. This totally makes up for the fact that the San Diego Charges gave away another game. I have to root for them because I was born and raised in San Diego. Life is good except for the Chargers. Glad I have The Sprite to keep me sane in these tough times.

Well no more bragigng or wineing. On the way home from the speedfest my transmission started acting up and grinding gears. I made it home on Sunday, but when I got ready to leave Wednesday the grinding of gears was worse.
The long and short of it is the slave cylinder blew. My mechanic can't fix it until he gets another car off of his rack since he only has one rack.
I will have to have it taken to him on a flatbed tow truck when he has room for me. Had to miss the Bonitafest parade on Saturday. My 5 year old Grandson was very dissapointed as he was going to ride shotgun. So this Sunday I have no other alternative but to watch the chargers play another close game I hope. So far all there games have been decided by 3 points.
