Is this vibration and noices part of the MG world?

The DGV air cleaner can certainly be rubbing against the hood but there are plenty of things to vibrate in a 30 year old car that hasn't had all the rubber replaced. I have a weird vibration in my exhaust system at crusing speed but I built the exhaust from the header collector back with stock 1 7/8" pipe and a thrush turbo muffler from the local parts warehouse. It was cheap but not engineered for the engine I have in the car. Hence the buzz at around 3K rpm.

Check your tyres for lumps and cracks. A lot of noises and vibrations can stem from this area.I changed the tyres and reduced quite a bit of noise and vibrations.
It is a process of elimination, check, check and check again.

Stuart.
