Is this my gearbox filler plug?

Forgive my ignorance, but I've searched long enough. I've seen various pics of the filler plug location, but I've not seen any like mine. Just want a confirmation that this is it. I expected it to be at a higher level on the case.

I think 66 is the drain plug, the filler plug should be on the side of the case. But.....and I am not sure of this, if you have a dip stick maybe you fill via the dip stick hole and there is no plug on the side of the case. Not knowledgable enough on early 3 trans with dip sticks. Others will know for certain. Wait for them to ring in.

Well ya the plug, and you can see where it goes up to the left above the oval.

Like he said, that's not the fill plug. It would be roughly in the middle of that raised area visible to the right in your photo (forward on the actual car).
But note that TR2/3/A up to TS50000 did not have a fill plug in that area at all. Instead, they were filled through the dipstick in the top cover (accessible through the rubber plug on the transmission tunnel near the handbrake lever). If someone has been mixing parts, it is quite possible to wind up with a later top cover on an earlier housing and no fill plug at all!
Sorry I don't have a good photo to share, all my cars have been pre-50K. But it's visible at the top of this shot from Practical Hints:

With or without the dip stick you fill it till it comes out the hole. If no dip stick or access to it get some type of oil can with a hose.

Hence my confusion.
Randall, once again you're spot on. No fill plug, just the dipstick. TS45693-L

I do hope that's not what you meant, Richard, but just for clarity : With the dipstick, you fill only until the oil level comes up to the top mark on the dipstick. Just like filling the crankcase. You should also wait a bit between adding oil and checking the level, especially with an overdrive. It takes time for the oil to run back into the OD.
