Imagine 2 guys, smoking weed all night, spending an hour finding the phone and remembering how to dial. Then giggling as they try to count out $15 for the delivery guy, getting lost heading back to the basement. Now, do they need directions??….
 
I remember seeing a printed ad on a small "info center"
in the grocery store I worked at.The top line said (in LARGE letters)-
"ILLITERATE? - WRITE FOR MORE INFORMATION".
 
A gent once stopped at the entrance to our shop asking directions, driving a pick-up truck with a graphic on the door reading: "K-9 Rescue".

Smart-arse self said: "I didn't think those dogs needed rescuing."

The guy looked at me like I'd three heads. Apparently he had NO sense of humor. :oops:

I once had a student that kept confusing Henry VII with Henry VIII when we were studying the War of the Roses. One day she asked if she could stay after school for some help and I said, "Sure, I'm available if you need extra Tudoring." Then I laughed and laughed and she looked at me like I was an idiot.

When in the last days of junior year in high school, a Solid Geometry class, we students entered the classroom for our final test. The teacher was nowhere to be seen but on the blackboard was this message, across six feet of the board:

"This question is the only one of the test, it will count for 100% of your final grade:

DEFINE: STELLATED PSEUDORHUMBICUBOCTAHEDRON"

As we all sat there in abject fear and confusion, he walked in laughing his butt off! :ROFLMAO:
 
We had a teacher in high school who played the record "Alice's Restaurant.

I had an English teacher that drove a race ready Volvo. Her husband, Art Tattersall was a familiar name on the New England sports car scene.
 
I had a college prof. who was a miserable you know what. A couple of us bought an old rusty bicycle and chained it to his bumper (in the 70’s) after graduation. We then drove back home with the key to the lock. I’m certain he was late for dinner that night :ROFLMAO:
 
I had a high school teacher who, well, he and the female student did get their picture in the annual that year exploring each other in the hallway....
Yes, absolutely true. He wasn't back the next year....
