This hole in the fender seems to be for an antena. But I found a pretty nice concave bolt with a very original looking rubber gasket that was in that hole. Is this hole original ? The rubber gasket and the bolt were very "origianl looking"

Not on mine either.
 
My BN1 did not have anything like that either and it would be in the way
to lower the windshield down if something was installed there.
