Is this for real??

Well I can't say as there was one like that but if it was as rare as indicated I would expect its asking price to be much higher.--Keoke

Yes it may be. However, the one I remeber seeing and was on the cover of Healey Marque a year or so ago was a BJ7 or 8. There is a dealer in the states who bought it in Europe and was trying to sell it for far more than the proposed asking price here. That would give it away as a scam. The car was a prototype built for the Healey factory and supposedly was deemed too ugly for production.

Current bid price is: $92,400.00 no indication of a reserve price.--Keoke--??

When you have a car worth, arguably, more than $100k and the description says the price is $20k, it's a scam. Respond to the e-mail and you will get an offer to deal off eBay. All the other similar scams I have seen, and there have been many, have the price set under $10k. I was told that $10k i the trigger point that gets law enforcement involved.

It was a scam... and I was the HIGHEST BIDDER....my bid was $1,000,000.00..I love messing with these crooks.

Should have seen the email I got.."please email me ASAP to discuss purchase at $92,000"
