Is this Correct

The similar TR2-4 tool I got from Moss many years ago proved to be undersize enough to make it just about useless. I could do a better job of centering just by feeling with my finger. Today I use an old input shaft instead, works much better.

I sell it over the counter @ $4.48 from MotorMite, a sister company to the one you have pictured from Dorman. Any parts store should have one of these two numbers in the computer to quote you a price.

So much for my attempt at giving our new sponsor a plug. I wonder if the Dorman tool fits better. I too use an old input shaft but not everyone has got one. I used wooden dowels in the past before I got the shaft.

That is the Correct Clutch tool. We put one in every one of our Eaglegate Triumph/ Toyota Transmission Conversion Kits, for the TR 3s to TR 6s.

So the same trans input shaft is used for both the 7,the 8, and the Capri?

Does the TR6 one fit too?

Don,
I don't know about the Capri but the 7 and 8 appear to be the same but different from the 6.
