Is this Brake Master Cylinder Salvageable?

Some people, quite a few in here disagree just because.
Yes they do, don't they. But some of us actually try to answer questions, rather than just throwing nasty words at those who do. My advice is always freely given, and guaranteed to be worth everything that was paid for it. You're welcome to present facts and opinions in rebuttal ... why don't you do that?

Yes, you're quite right, no one should EVER do that, they might get hurt. Just leave them all for me.

"In good brakes, I rely my life" this was a wise words from apostol "Triumphusius"
This means new master brakes cilinder is the wise decision.

I purchased a new clutch master cylinder for my TR6, thinking "new is good." The old one was prolly rebuildable, but I chose new. The new one lasted all of 2 years before it leaked. I sent the new cylinder off to Apple for a rebuild and resleeve and have been totally satisfied with the results. If your old MC can be sent to Apple, ask them if it is salvageable and have it rebuilt. A steel-sleeved MC or Slave Cylinder is better than a new aluminum-bodied OE-style unit. Just my HO. And I use the type of fluid that removes paint.

The man is an absolutely 100% hard core tough guy.

No pansy soft paper towel brake bleeding cleanup's for Bill.

Break out the paint stripper, primer, color and fire up the compressor. We got full pedal and we got us a fender well to paint tonight, big boy!!
