Is this antenna factory

don't think there is any such thing as "factory" my understanding is that they were a dealer installed option - kind of neat though

Definitely "period-correct"; I remember them all too well!

That is the type a dealer installed on my 72 Land Cruiser.

Looks like maybe a dealer option.

Now for the car in the auction...

Not a MK II unless...

Wrong doors with roll up windows?
Wrong front bumper
Wrong dash
Wrong (aftermarket) steering wheel
Wrong seats

What an ugly engine bay, could he take a rag and wipe up a little of the dreck before putting it up for sale??? How about a pair of front turn lenses - too much to ask??

Mismatched front fenders - really? How many older cars have the matching front fenders anyway and what caused all these cars to get one fender replaced?? Both of my older cars have mismatched fenders - I think the majority of cars I see 1969 or earlier have mismatched front fenders!

It's a MK III - much more likely, and not very well cared for - glad he's not getting any bids he needs to clean up his act before asking that much money.

I have two pairs of shoes like that - both mismatched

All it needs is some tiger paws on it and it
would fetch top dollar around here. Clemson orange.
My recently departed dad would sell craft stuff at
the local flea markets. If an item wasn't moving we'd laugh and stick some tiger paw decals on it and danged it it wouldn't sell.

I see it is in Colorado. Maybe some Bronco themed add-ons will help.
