Is this a Triumph tonneau?

I recently put a number of Triumph TR 4 parts up on ebay for a friend and one item was a tonneau cover. My local Triumph expert and frequent visitor to this forum, Andy Mace, however, tells me it's definitely not for a Triumph TR4.

I haven't been able to identify what car it fits. Can anyone take a look at it and give me your opinion?

It's item number 270780772470 at:

Thanks.

I saw that one, and I think Andy is definitely right - I don't think it is for any Triumph that I recognize. Looks like lift the dot attachments all around?

Vic:
Doesn't look like TR stuff. Find a friend with a "B" and try it. Or find a Brit car club or show and while you're enjoying the cars, test fit it til you get a match.

I don't think it's for an MGB either.

This has me baffled. I will definitely bring it to the Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car show in Saratoga Springs NY in a few week.

Those back notches are hard to figure - maybe for a rollbar?

Good question Randy. That would be my guess. Maybe this was a custom made tonneau....

It's for something with vent windows. I believe the notches in the mid section are just at the rear of the doors. I'm guessing Alfa, Fiat, or Datsun, but it could be anything. I hope you get a positive ID.

Maybe a "Bugeye, Sprite or Midget" but ???????
