is this a good price?

Morris, I made a "hammerhead", or "T" shaped extension for the sump that added an extra couple of quarts of oil capacity. I baffled it to prevent the oil from sloshing away from the pickup, and fabbed up a windage tray. I also installed the dipstick tube on the pan, using a welded in bung, a stainless elbow fitting and a piece of 3/8" stainless tubing. Modified a GM 4.3 V6 dipstick from an S-10 to fit. Tapped the original dipstick tube hole in the block and plugged it.
Some of the oil pan mods were directly out of the Competition Prep manual, and some were my design.
For the pump, I used a GT6 pump, and pressed the Spit driveshaft into the rotor for higher volume.
I think the guy I sold the Spit to has the engine out of the car right now. If he does, I'll see if I can snap some pics for you. He may also have the drawings I made when I built the thing, if that would help.
(I just emailed him to see if it's still out of the car.)

Morris, he called me right after receiving the email to let me know he installed the engine last night!
I still may be able to get some representative pictures, as the engine bay is pretty well wide open on the thing.

I am mainly interested in the baffle. My car is a light street car. But it is pretty hilly were I live, and every time that oil light comes on during a fast downhill stop it's like a kick in the groin.
