Is there such a thing as

yes - we've had previous threads about oil blowing out dipstick holes etc etc. - usually the problem is something else though
 
She stays between 60 at idle and around 65-70 while running. I will have to check and see if it gets any higher at higher rpms.
 
60 at idle when hot? Really. Cut the bypass spring down about 1/8th and try that for your own peice of mind.
