Is there any gas where you live?

Eaton has a number of facilities in Western NC. This story is confirmed, in that most of the folks I work with are operating from their homes rather than commuting to and from the office - NO GAS!

This is NUTS!

Kim: Have you considered picking up the phone and calling Raleigh to complain. Maybe the governor's office can help. You need to reming your politicians that it's time for them to do something for you!

Good luck!

When the storm hit I ran out and filled up both cars then it dropped a nickle that day. Go figure. Premium is holding at 3.85 here.

All stations seem to have gas down here, but most have roughly half the pumps turned off, causing lines to form. The price fluctuates almost daily (hourly in some cases!)from a low of $3.69 to a high of $3.89...goes up and down like a yoyo!

Plenty here its $3.39 and no enthanol.

So far so good in PA. $3.57 for reg. in and around Pittsburgh. I was out by Philly yesterday. Gas there was $3.56 on the PA turnpike. No lines to speak of.

Plenty here. Price has dropped over the last couple of weeks too.

Ditto. Everything has continued to drop. I heard a station or two ran short of 87 octane once or twice after the last hurricane, but that's it.

I guess when the country is 700 billion dollars overdrawn, a few states having no gas is not national news. I am also hearing bits and pieces that things in certain parts of Texas are as dismal as New Orleans was.

Its been done, people are raising cain at the elected people right now. Heath Shuler even released a video from washington that he is doing all he can.

regular, low test gas(87) octane, has been going here for $4.19 a gallon. Except for Costco which yesterday afternoon lowered it's price to 3.81 a gallon. Talk about looooong lines to get gas today.....

Since my last post we are now down to $3.29 in Lawton.

Geesh!! Prices dropping there and rising here!! I guess that's how they maintain a "national average price"!!

Plenty of gas, currently $3.75 in Charleston SC area.

$ 1.16/litre here today
and lots around our house----------------------------------oh wait that was the pickled eggs last night

The governor is supposed to be doing something but so far nothing, Raleigh has lots of fuel so why should he care. People driving 60 miles out of state to get gas. Schools closing and the city offices is shut down until Tuesday. This is supposed to be a good year for color in the leaves around Asheville, but the tourists pouring in will only make the gas shortage thing worse and drag on for longer if we ever do get gas coming back into the area.

It dropped again yesterday in Lawton to $3.14 but now the dreaded 10% sticker has appeared at a couple gas stations.

Still $4.23 or so here in Chicago.
