That looks correct Roger. Here is a source for you. cf13anl_schematic_wm.jpg

Wow!
Thanks for researching and finding this.
Top left corner, I noticed, there's a "0" which seems to be going to ground?

Mine is not grounded.
Was the original can relay grounded, by screwing the L-tab on the end of the can relay to the firewall?

Not needed with the electronic style I have now?
Yet back to my question about the "0" seems to go to ground?

Hmmm, good question. The EL13 diagram I linked to seems to be for a slightly different EL13. HERE is the full page. This flasher has an additional ground strap on it. If yours didn't come with that or a metal housing, it may not need one. The LED flasher for my bike has only two terminals: hot in and hot out, no ground at all. I can't figure how the circuitry works inside.

Yup, no ground strap, no metal housing.

I thought this would be one of those simple posts. A couple people comment and problem solved.

I'm beginning to wonder if this bleed over has anything to do with my prior post about my trafficator not working properly. I took the trafficator apart and cleaned all the contacts, as per Keoke...thank you, and that solved the problem.

Don't ask if I had this bleed over situation before the trafficator situation, for I don't know if I notice it then. I only see the bleed over at night when the interior is dark. During the day, I hardly see it at all.

OK, who wants to be the first to chime in with.....the lucas saying, Gentlemen don't drive at night.

Problem solved.

Well, the problem may have been designed into our Healeys. You only noticed because you added those brighter LEDs.

Gentlemen!! just put the diodes in and the problem will go away.-----Keoke-

Wiring diagram BJ 8???

If you need one, I can mail it - since the upload limit is 100 kb, the image get's too blurred when uploading on the forum!

Maybe you already have one, otherwise, drop me a mail,

Best

Hey Roger,
Did you ever get this resolved?

During this trouble shooting, one of the forum members sent me PM and said to try grounding the P tab. So I attached a separate wire, brushed it against a ground item. It sparked and blew the the 30 amp fuse on the firewall. Let's not do that again.

I removed the added wire, replaced the fuse, and guess what....no more bleed over. Huh?

Don't know why, but it seems to be working fine now. We'll see for how long. Interesting.

Thanks everyone for your help.
Thanks for the follow up Greg.

Glad it wasn't worse

Maybe you welded a loose connection by accident.
