That was good.
My personal theory also uses Star Trek as a reference point. The Warp theory.
Santa actually operates from the distant future rather than the past. He uses a Reindeer 9 warp coil to bend reality bringing the travel points both in time and distance closer to one another. In essence being in millions of places and times all at once.
What NORAD picks up on each Christmas, in effect his warp trail, the point where the space/time contiuum creases, as it were.
But that is just me.
