Really is none, but, trying to read Kellysguy's mind (most of which is fiction BTW :jester:) I suspect the thought process goes like this.

Thelma Lou was on Mayberry...

Opie (Ron Howard) was on Mayberry...

Thelma Lou was mugged in Mount Airy (Mayberry)

Opie (Ron Howard) has grown into someone not currently making movies to everyone's taste.

Conclusion

The world has changed, not necessarily for the better.
