Oh mommy! That is gorgeous (and VERY tempting). JP, if ya don't mind, I'm going to move this to the MG forum but I'll leave a permanent marker/ pointer in the Pub. Lot's of MG guys who may not frequent the Pub would probably want to see this.

I do favor J2s with wings, but the four place isn’t what people covet. Nice example in lovely colours.

Someone commented on one of the sites that you'd need a calendar to measure 0-to-60 (But you'd still have fun!)

I drive a Midget - and plan to restore a Multipla 600 followed by an Austin 7. what exactly is your point? 😁

I think the trick is to have vehicles that tick all the boxes. I have a go fast and slow in the garage.

True - and the Vauxhall ticks that box. While I do wish I had a car that was better suited to longer distance cruising, I must confess I REALLY love the ability to thrash the Midget and never exceed the speed limit.

Sigh, I am too old to thrash anything. However I got Bee running with a new carb last evening. Whee. then discovered that it got hot quick. Fan was not turning. Gish got to use heaver gage wire than that. Then found that other fan was running backwards, Fixed it.

Told you there was lots of stuff to do. Still have not driven it. Need to figure how to attach the downshift cable to the carb. Old carb had a piece welded on it for attachment and I have yet to find a female spade connector large enough for the electric choke connection.

Guess I need to visit the Chevrolet dealer.

Surely hope there is more to report tomorrow morning.

Does this help, Jack?

Ya but only I am old enough to remember pre war, just a we bit. Sorry. Do remember WWII quite well.

I am still learning this new forum, sorry for screw up. I would move it but think I do not nor ever have permissions needed nor want it..
