That means you are having to do 70+ to avoid being run over.
We have to visit Atlanta for a Dr. appointment from time to time. We take the earliest appointment available so we get to the Dr. before the start of heavy traffic and out during the late morning lull. Usually works great. Not living there I do not have a mental map of the roads so I am relying on technology to get me to my destination.
Mental maps are becoming a thing of the past. Have a friend who needs his Garmin to find his way to the bathroom at work.

Not just mental maps are used..I still use real paper maps and sometimes draw out maps and mileage for trips.

The one good thing about the gps based programs are that they can "see" traffic problems and route you the best way to avoid the gridlock. Maps don't consider road conditions.

A fellow on one of my other forums got pulled over by the police (in the UK) who thought he was giving them the bird - he was opening his sunroof manually. :grin:
