Is it me or are there a lot of '74 Midgets around

There seem to be a lot of them (including mine). I gotta say when I found it I thought, "Perfect!" Has the chrome bumper style, the rounded rear wheel well, the 1275, last of the model (so you hope they fixed up the bugs) etc.

Is it just a good year, or did they make a lot of them, or both or...

Doc, swelp me, it's true. I only have one '74 Midget. And its yellow, with a white top! When I get around to it, that will change. If I ever get around to doing anything with it.
It was another homeless waif that followed me home for nothing more than the cost of the gas to go and get it. Round trip, about 50 miles.

Heck, I've got one now as well. Don't know the production numbers off hand, but don't think there were particularly more of that year than others.

Horlers, P.111 has production figures.
There were 8422 MKIII RWA Midgets made for the US market.

Hadn't thought about it, but at 5:59am, 90% of my daily allowance of mental real estate was used in remembering Henry V. Now I've just used another 1%, time for a nap.
