Seriously why is there not a Registry for the 100's? Just asking.
 
The late, great Rich Chrysler used to keep a registry for 100s. I believe he passed it on to someone before his illness claimed him, but off the top of my head I don't recall who.
 
The registries are there only because the owners of those registries asked me to include a form to allow people to send them directly the registration onto. If there exists a 100M registry and whomever is the owner of said registry wants to include a similar forum, they only need to ask and I'd be happy to accommodate.
 
Well, if he'd be interested in having a registration form here for his registry, just have him contact me.

I guess that I wasn't aware that I was required to register my friends in my BCF profile... :rolleyes2:

Yes, there is a new 100 Registrar, and he registers all models of the 100 (BN1/BN2). See the Regstries listing on page 37 of each 40-page issue of the monthly Healey Marque magazine, which certainly you are receiving! :chuncky:

There is also the "Worldwide 100M Le Mans Registry" founded and operated by Bill Meade.
 
I guess I was confused. I thought the registries were for us to post to and were intended for the Healey forum people. I didn't think they were the "Registries." My bad. Hope I didn't stir up an hornet's nest,

Basil most graciously agreed to host a webpage for the BJ8 Registry shortly after the forum was created in 2001. Since then, 600 BJ8 owners have completed the webpage questionnaire and submitted the information about their car to the registry. Although most who are regulars in the forum have already done so, I know there are some who have not. Because of the use of pseudonyms, I can't always identifiy whether the BJ8 owners in the forum are included in the registry or not, but I know there are some who have ignored my inquiries. Since they don't respond, I don't know what objection they have to having their car accounted for. I suspect it's because they are not familiar with what the registry is and the good it can do for the Healey community. Actually, with 7,969 cars worldwide (almost 50% of original production) now included in the BJ8 Registry, there is a good chance their car is already there under one or more earlier owners.

The BJ7 registrar learned of the BJ8 page and asked Basil to create one for him, too. The other registrars haven't asked, and that's why only the BJ7 and BJ8 have "buttons" at the top of the forum home page.
 
Thanks Steve for the explanation. As a 100 Owner, I'll just skulk away. Seriously perhaps the 100/100M will want a place in the forum.
 
Hi all, the AHCA 100 Registry is alive and very well. Over 110 BN1's & BN2's have been added since June 2012 and 90+ records have been updated. I have just requested that a link to the 100 Registry be added to the forum.

I'll be checking in daily. If you are unsure if your 100 is listed in the 100 Registry, just drop me a note and I'll get back to you. As always, all information is held in the strictest confidence and will never be released without the owners permission.
