Looks about right - pretty colour. I suspect you are correct - different paints. I will also say that when I was choosing the Old English White for Ms Triss, there were a variety of paint codes that were all OEW - with history we tend to come down on one "authoritative" hue of the colour - originally I am not sure they were that uniform. (Certainly BRG wasn't)

Looks too "deep" (or rich) for Iris Blue. My Iris Blue Bugeye isn't that dark. But you may be right about the finish causing the change.

EDIT: Sorry, too hasty, as I made the comment on the LINK (which is to a Datsun 280). The Sprite looks close to Iris Blue to me (though just a tad darker).

Iris Blue is as tricky as OEW to get right and who knows what your different monitors show. I was lucky since I had a hidden area behind a panel of original paint, but I have no idea what time did to it.

I agree... tricky (and I have what looks more like "Speedwell Blue" in my prop-shaft tunnel, which is a tiny bit lighter).

In that post, Speedwell does look darker on my Samsung screen. LOL. When I painted the Bugeye above, it was definitely lighter than the Sebring just painted a month ago. I think it is a case of finding the color you want and the paint code, and then whatever you get from the paint mix is what you get.
Cheers
Lew
