Last night I updated my iPhone operating system to 26.6.2.
This afternoon this dialogue box popped up on my screen…..

At first it startled me but then I said “No way”.

Watch out!

This looks like classic "scareware". Most likely a popup from a malware infected web site.

If anyone else gets this, Don't tap the Run a Test link, close the webpage/app that produced it. If it appeared in Safari, close that Safari tab. If Safari keeps displaying it, force-close Safari and reopen it. Don't install anything it recommends. And whatever you do, don't enter an Apple Account password, credit-card information, or phone number in response to it.

I would also call Apple tech support to confirm if there are any other actions you should take.

I closed safari ~and~ rebooted my phone after seeing the popup.
I know better than to click any link in that popup
