iphone question

For some reason my iphone won't except my PayPal password, which I know is correct! No problems on anything else, anyone have a clue why this is happening? I wanted to buy a couple things from the iphone store, but no go. PJ

Just a guess.... you probably have to link your PayPal account with your Apple ID before it will work.

When you say the iPhone won't accept the PayPal password - are you talking about the PayPal App or are you trying to log into Paypal in the Safari browser or....? What exactly is it your are trying to do that requires your PayPal password?

I wanted to pay for some apps with my PayPal account, but my account password is not excepted. I reverted to using a Mastercard which was excepted. It is frustrating as Apple has a link button for PayPal. I did everything they asked but it still rejects the password that I use for any other PayPal purchases. The Mastercard route solved the problem. ?? PJ

Hmm, when I open the App Store App and attempt to buy an App, I'm not seeing an option to pay with Pay Pal. Instead it asks for my Apple ID password. Is the option to enter PayPal somethign that appears after you enter your Apple ID password?

Can you upload a screen shot of the iPhone screen where it has the PayPal option? (To do a screen shot, just press the on-off buttan AND touct the HOME button at the same time and it will take a screen shot and let you add to your pictures. From there you can "share" the image with yoru self via email so you can get it on your conmputer to upload to the forum.

Yes it's after opening Apple apps, choosing an app then choice of payment. PJ

Do you have the latest iOS? When I just bought an App, I clicked on "Purchase" and it asked for my Apple Id password, which I provided, then it just said "completed". Nowhere did I have a option for PayPal. Is that something you may heve set up in your Apple ID account?

Right now there's no problem ordering with the M card on record, but later I'm going get PP set up. With your suggestions I'll figure it out. Thanks guys for trying to educate this old mind! PJ
