Someone (who's a lot more tech savy than I) should make a Britsh Car Forum iphone or android app. I travel a lot and would love to have something like that.
The BCF works pretty well as is on an iPhone at least. I use mine to check in frequently.
That said, some forum software does have a handheld mode -- changes the template/layout to work a bit better on the smaller screen. Not sure if the software Basil uses can do that, though.
I'm on my Samsung Captivate right now. BCF works fine with it, as do most sites. The only problem is flash doesn't work with this version of android. 2.2 is supposed to fix that.
I'm not really dying to get Froyo, so I can wait. One thing I've been trying to get working is an external hard drive for my phone. My car stereo is limited to 32GB for music so I was curious if I can hook something bigger up through the phone.
