...some things just need to be somewhere else.

Unfortunately in my world, some things already are somewhere else and I can't ever seem to find them.

Terri, I guarantee your things are next to my things so if Doc ever finds them please make sure he don't sell em!

Yep, don't worry, I have proof that that is true. Now that I'm reassembling the interior of my Healey, I have twice as many screws, nuts and bolts as I remember taking off.....

I`m reasonably sure that there are Garage Gremlins residing in the bottom drawer of my toolbox. They are thief`s!
They have stolen many many of my tools along with numerous other odds and ends.
Occasionally they put selected items where I eventually do run onto them, BUT ..... I know this is just a ploy contrived by them to make me think I`m getting senile and forgetful.
If I ever do locate their stash I will have enough tools to share with everyone.
Until then, I`m keeping my large rubber mallet handy to bash them with given the opportunity

I also know that they conspire with the top drawer dwelling elves that specialize in stealing small screws, nuts and washers even when one is about to use that hardware for an ongoing project..
The middle drawer dwelling Gnomes are usually busy scurrying around looking for black electrical tape, tape measures, flashlights, pens, pencils or larger hardware to steal.

Then there are the Hobbits that steal the lawnmower gas.
Most days I just can`t win for loosing *SIGH*
