I just received my summer catalog from TRF. The company (owner) is offering an 8% return on investments of $1000 or more, over 5 years. See the catalog for details.
It smacks of a con to me.
I want to meet a recipient of that deal.

Doubting Russ

There are many, many of them recipients
Been around a while

use to be 5%
It's an unsecured loan
Hopefully someone here will pipe in with the payoff info

Minted silver.

That's all I'm sayin'

:smirk:

I've considiered this for quite a while, but never had the extrra money laying around. I think it also gets you some decent discounts too. The investment is backed by a life insurance policy, so if Charles dies, you SHOULD be covered.

:sorrow: Don't talk to me about silver, I've already had that lesson.

So Charles dies. What does that do? The return has to be tied to something more than him living or dying. I'll pass.

The return is you get yearly payments and are payed in full in 5 years with a nice interest payment.
If you have a car that just starting a resto it is a good deal

But since it's non-secured it may not be a good deal.
Why is it a better risk for the investor when the borrower is not going to the bank?...just sayin

Small amount of money
Low risk

Not my thing though

What are you guys talking about?

I'm vested in semi precious metals: copper, brass, lead, steel with a bit of aluminum thrown in for good measure. :cowboy:

Tnanks but I'll pass. I've already got a portfolio that'll appreciate in any economy.
