Hello All,
I'm new here & still exploring the ways of this site so please excuse any faux pas.
Like the one where I registered & promptly went to the rallye but did not enter any choice of route or speed. At least I did lose any points.
As for my LBC, its my second 'B. The first was a 1966 roadster with wire wheels, overdrive & had a factory hardtop. Hindsight & all .......... Shoulda kept that one just like I should have kept my 1966 Mini Cooper. Ah those were the days !!!!
Current LBC is a replacement 'B, a 1972 roadster. It was in a very sad state when I bought it & (hindsight again...) I should have shopped around. I now know that I could have got a much better car if I gone southwards & not bought one from up here in the GWN ( Great White North).
But hey it was 30 km form here & needed a good home.
Restoration is coming along very slowly. A limited budget & my own level of perfection has made it so. I do not intend to make a concours car but neither do I intend to have to redo anything a second time if I can possibly avoid it.
Looking forward to the camaraderie that is prevalent hereabouts.
Regards, Graham.

Hi Graham, jump in the rally and beat Tony

Welcome aboard ...Fun place

Welcome, Graham....if I still had all the cars I've owned & sold, man!

Graham, we all know how slowly those restorations can go. Especially when you ship out parts for rehab that take months and months and months to get done . . .

But you WILL have a nice dashboard. Someday!

Hi Graham,

Whereabouts in Ontario is Green Valley? I've never heard of it.

Anyway, coming out to the big British car show at Bronte Creek Park, Oakville this upcoming Sunday? If you don't know about it, it's listed under the local events forum or at www.britishcarday.com it's a big one with usually over 1,000 British cars. The show will go on assuming we survive Hurricane Isabel relatively unscathed (heavy rains and high winds forecasted for Ontario, Friday through to midday Saturday!), I'm crossing my fingers...

Welcome Graham,
you'll find this an interesting place to be!
I'm quite new to the Forum as well but am loving it. It's great to hear the problems and answers given so well.
I restore cars in the UK and have worked extensively on some really well know Jaguars, GT40's and others, so have a quick look at my site for a flavour of what we do!

Enjoy yourself on the forum!

Sherlock,
Not surprised you haven't heard from Green Valley. It's so small the guy who paints the population sign was sick that day so we don't have one.
It's in the extreme eastern end of the province between Lancaster & Alexandria ( 30km west of Cornwall).
However, I do know of 5 MGBs in the vicinity (not including mine) & 3 Healys (or is it Healies!!) so we are not without our share of LBCs.
