Intresting problem

Thanks Taz, I think they look very good and the hideaway ramps are great. Price is even good. Hmmm, wonder who tha manufacture is?

Dively Mfg Co Inc. I,m going to say Claysburg Pa Just north of Breezwood Pa. I have not been able to find any type of web site. Did find a phone # ( can not put my finger on it right now ). They may have dealers closer to you.

This is NOT an angle iron trailer. Its all built with square tubing. Very sturdy.

my dad bought a perfect car sized trailer from the local "welder" for $750.....
custom made if u wanna call it that....brand new with mobile home wheels.....tows our New Holland no problem...z

wow, 750 sounds great. I will keep looking over the next year.

Around here there are always a large selection of used trailers for sale. I've been keeping an eye out for the perfect one to come along.

I can sell you one like this Jack. Its only around $290.000. Much nicer than most peoples homes

Think that's bigger than my house!

That's a bit excessive for a Bugeye But there is hope.

Just my 2c here, but after the summer landscaping mowing season, I have a promise on a trailer as a local fly-by-night mowing team will be selling up for winter, these trailers are big enough for a spridget and if they are going out of business, they should be pretty cheap and light enough that my minivan will be able to haul with plenty of 'weight' to spare.
If they're big enough for two riding mowers, it's big enough for a spridget, and they already have ramps on!

You know Barry I was thinking of that today in fact. Great minds. Think I will watch the news paper close. Wonder what they cost new?

I called a local manufacturer in Bloomington IL, and they kind of stick to a template (off the lot) for the lawnboys, said it'd be between $1k and $2k depending on # of axles and brakes etc.
The used one I'm after will be about $500.
In your climate, I think the lawn boys have a more perenial market, but they are in the paper Jack. My neighbor used an wrecked RV trailer (try scrap yards near where landfalling hurricanes have been,) ripped the living piece off and just used wooden boards, was less than $200, the lumber was the most expensive part.

Yep, good advice. Would you beleive the closest junk yard is over 20 miles away. This is a fancy place for sure. No. is just close to the coast and land is expensive.

We have lots of lawn service guys, will have to check where they get their trailers. Actually they seem at first thought to be about right.
