Interpreting Joe Cocker - Woodstock 1969

Oh my goodness! My gut is gonna hurt for a while! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! Reminded me of a "conversation" I once had with a high school class mate who had just finished smoking some "goochit, man". That was the day I swore I'd never do drugs!

I think he may have done more than just a loaf of wonder bread! LOL

Heck, I understood every word he sang. Didn't need no stinkin subtitles.......

You guys have got to get with it. Ya'll must've listened to old Beatles stuff too much.

Now I gotta re-learn that iconic performance!!!

...Spastic Joe... amazing. I STILL see Belushi's send-up in my mind when I hear that, too.

By gum I'm with Bill and Doc. on this!!! That video was great for those of you who weren't there to understand! (now let me mop off my keyboard!)

Oh my God! That there was funny, I don't care who you are.
Thanks for providing me a flashback to those long ago but
mostly not forgotten days.
:thankyousign:

"Go and get a loaf of my bread, somebody's got a savior on the way"! Man, and I though John Lennon could come up with some deep lyrics! :winner1:

doc, woodstock, 69, joe cocker,... i was no less the 20 feet in front of him when he did it!, holy sh......., the words he sang were the same back then as in the clip, :G, you guys really know how to make a guy feel old!

Anthony, cool that you were there! Man, what a mess, but what a memory.

Amazing the impact that concert had. And like his on-stage antics or not, Cocker had talent and was an excellent R&B singer and writer.

All those great bands in one place. And all those acts who were "discovered" at Woodstock and went on to fame and success: Richie Havens; Mountain, etc.

Lotsa good music, man. Far out. :yesnod:

Yeah, amazing

(I led a sheltered life - never did Wonder Loaf as a teen  )
