What i did was remove the fitting from the bulkhead of the tank so that all there is left is the 1/4npt female hole find a 1/4 npt male by 1/4 tube fitting. take a 1/4 drill bit and drill out the bottom so the bit goes all the way thru the fittng. Now teflon tape the threads and insert it into the female tank bulkhead.Run a length of teflon or maybe a good quality poly tubeinto the fitting, it will follow down inside the 3/8 pipe in the tank until it stops. tighten the tube fitting down. Now you need to convert to what ever fitting to your fuel pump line.Should draw the tank to empty. I run a weber DGV on a 948 and a solind type 29 dollar pump and it hasnt starved yet. Much cheaper and easyer than dropping the tank.
