HI Patterson, IMOP it does not matter what the kit source is.The final outcome lies with the talent of the installer. The Falcon SS Exhaust system seems to be the favorite choice.---Fwiw---Keoke /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif

You Always the bearer of ancient information.? MPatterson, If you do contact S&C ask for Virginia She is the head Honcho now and she is prettier than John too, John is kinda laying back I think. However, they do have some excellent bits for the cars that are "NA" from other sources.Additionally they have an excellent E-Bay Store.---Fwiw---Keoke- /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angel.gif
PS That Anthony fellow don't live on "Breezy Hill Rd" for nothing!

If you want to directly compare, order a set from each manufacturer and then decide which one to return (Heritage encourages this comparison). If you are going for a concours result then Heritage is considered better by the experts. If economy is important then you can usually get a better deal with Moss others (especially when sales are on). As Keoke points out, the installation will make or break the finished result .

Cheers,
John

keoke,if you think the mother is nice, you have to meet the doughter, she went to high school with my son, very sweet young laddy,i only posted the bit about s&c because i have never seen it mentioned here,i was actually there today gettig some stuff, the store is 15 mininutes from my house,so you know them, now i understand why sometimes john will slame the phone down, mutter something about this guy in l.a. and begine cursing!keep walkin big boy!look out for 'guido'

Well Anthony, I guess I met em both cuz one said she was John's daughter and I spoke with them today.---Oh! jest leave the key in the ignition I wudn't want to wake u up, but then again I know how to hot wire a Healey by jes messsin wid the fuses.----Keoke-- /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angel.gif

hay keoke, look at it this way, from now on anything you get from S&C will undergo a very special vigerous inspection and final tune up by yours trully, free of charge, john said hed especialy let me know when you order your brake parts!keoke i know you could start a healy from 100 yards away just by talepathy,no keys no fuses,no wire,no paper clip.oh ya the paper clip bit has nothing to do with having to open the hood!i might tell you that one some day, very interesting. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

As Keoke says, it isn't necessarily about the supplier but it is everything about the installer. If you haven't the skills, I suggest you find a first class interior trimmer to do the critical bits for you, that would include seats, rear scuttle and parcel tray (if BJ8). The kick panels and carpet are easily within reach of your average handy car guy. But on Healeys, the seats are a particular bugger and it is very difficult to make them look right.

As for Heritage vs Moss vs VB or whomever, all I can say is that I've had pretty good success with Moss on a do-it- yourself MGA restoration with their interior kit a number of years ago. But it wasn't particularly complicated. On my BJ8, Heritage completely bodged up the interior, the top and tonneau. It took way too long to receive the merchandise and equally long to settle out the whole mess. Communication is not their strong suit and that can be very frustrating. Fortunately I had a superb trimmer doing the work and he did a marvelous job of installing my custom Heritage interior - even though he had to re-engineer half of what they sent him. This was almost four years ago. I spoke with him a week ago and he tells me that not much has changed.
Caveat Emptor!
