Can anyone recomend the best way to go about removing a headliner without ruining it? I'd like to re-use as much of the interior as I can, but for the time being I all has to come out.

I'd also like to know if anyone could shed some light on dash removal.

thanks,
Bryan

No way that I know of...but it has to come out from the rear hatch.

After you get the seats out, lay on your back & you'll see a row of studs along the top of the dash & a few studs along the bottom.....remove them & the dash comes right out.

You make it sound SO simple.

The headliner can be removed but it takes some finesse. You first have to remove the rear top light panel from the backside of the headliner. Then go all around where the headliner is tucked up under the side cantrails (side) roof panels with a thin plastic spatula or something to make sure the material from the headliner is not stuck to the material of the cantrail panels. The headliner will now be loose enough to move a little side to side and towerads the rear hatch. I think you can slide it to one side and then drop the ohter side down and slide it out the back. BE CAREFUL the haedliner is a thin moulded panel that will break easily, so be careful and just finess it out. It's been awhile since I did this, removing it may need only to slide it backwards and out. I know others here have done it too. If you are recovering it make sure you use the heavy duty 3M spray adhesive as the other won't hold up to the heat.
