interior panel kit from Moss

Hey,
A few questions on installing the panel kit in my '64 BJ8. What goes behind the "hole" in the passenger foot well panel? and what hold the foot well panel in place?
Thanks,
David

I understood the 'hole'( if the hole you are referring to is down at the passenger foot level in the outside wall)to be put there if the car is a right hand drive model for foot pedal clearance but of no use if it is a left hand drive.I was suprised that there is a dimensional difference in that area between the l/h and r/h. I imagine it was cheaper to leave it there what ever the model was.

I believe the Moss video says that it is bulk vinyl, glued to the footwell. I've seen pictures that have a patch of carpet that look pretty good. Don't know what's original.
