Looks nice! The only thing I could not do were the carpet pieces that go over the wheel wells. I will have to take those in somewhere to have them shaped. I don't know why they can not form fit them first for the price they charge.

Kevin, I had the same problem with the wheel wells.....I would talk to Moss about it and would be glad to back you up.
Everyone has this problem with the Moss carpets at the wheel wells.

Hope you got some extra material so you can do the dash, etc. down the road a bit.
 
Very nice. I'm fitting the same kit. Did you have to trim the front of the tunnel piece that goes up against the lower dash panel? It looks like if I fit mine correctly around the gearshift opening, then it is a little long against that panel. May have to cut the trim binding off that front part.
 
You can fit it yourself. Find my "home rolled carpet kit" thread. My carpet was hand cut 100% by me from a bulk roll. You can't see any seems if you do it right. The trick is hold the shears 45 degrees towards the seam when you cut. take you time and drive it exactly where you need it. I fit each piece around five times each but they are perfectly fitted to each other.
 
Hi Jack - yep, got enough material to do the dash. I'm trying to figure out what to do with the inside of the doors. Is it the panel's material, or something else??

No, I didn't have to trim it, it fit perfectly up against the panel.

looks great! my seat kits, seat pans, foam kits, carpet and trim kits arrived yesterday! can't wait to get started. you're an inspiration!(this entire site is) :smile:
 
The ribbed rubber is correct for the inside of the doors.

However, here is a thought. Sound deading material on the inside of the door covered with more vinyl. The sound stuff, just even a foot square on each door makes a real difference, the vinyl looks great.

I like Jack's idea! The interior looks very nice. I found some ribbed material at the local Lowe's. It is black vinyl, a thought would be to purchase it and use one of the vinyl paints to get it to match your interior.

Jack, I like your idea. Ms Agatha looks great. I'll post a pic after I get the doors done, I have to find some sound deadening material. Here's a pic of her new top and paint job..

Oh, forgot to say the sound deadening stuff inside the door keeps em from clanging when you close em.

Without something in there it is an awful noise.
 
Yep, primrose yellow - or at least as close to the original primrose as we could get. Found about a zillion formulas for it. But we think we got close enough to make us happy. The red top sort of was inspired by my wife - she really liked
Jack's interior, and wanted to carry the red on to the top. I like it!
