interior installation questions

two questions

1. with the interior panels, do they just bend/ lay over the wires? I'm thinking particularly of the kick panels in the wheel wells and the panel under the passenger door.

2. could someone please post a picture of the top frame attachment where the pivots bolt onto the body behind the seats?

Yes lay/bend over the wires and yep they are not flat then.

The wires in the wheel wells should be run behind the sub structure over the wheel hump but behind the bracing.
It emerges out of a hole in the lower dog leg and runs outside along the inner sill and up the passenger side (right side).
The inner fender panel flexes enough where you do not notice the wires behind it.
But the rocker panel is sort of cocked with the wires behind it.
Do watch when you screw the panels on, I have screwed through the harness.
Try to find THAT when you know you have tested all the wires and wrapped the harness but 1/2 the back lights don't work.

While you're running the lines, JP, be careful running the bit of the harness that goes to the e-brake cable! When I was troubleshooting electrical stuff last year, I left the wire from the e-brake switch a little too high--just high enough to catch in the ratchet! When I was stopped at a light in rush-hour traffic, I pulled the e-brake so I could turn around to find my sunglasses. The ratchet shorted the line, popped a fuse, and killed EVERYTHING. Thank goodness it was a long light! Stone dead, surrounded by four lanes of SUVs, and I'm doing a one-man Chinese fire drill running around and rummaging under the hood. By sheer luck I had reset the brake and the wire had fallen free, so the next fuse didn't pop as well. (Now I know why the extra fuse holders are in the fusebox--and why they should always be full!)

Do you want a picture of the "hood" (convertible top) bracket that bolts behind the seat (3 bolts per side) ? I can take a picture of my car tonight for ya, just want to be sure that's what your looking for
