I have a post 60K 1961 TR3. It came with door pulls on the inside like the TR4 pulls. ( Also came with 1970's wood paneling for door panels) Does anybody know if ANY TR3's had interior door pulls...ever. Or do I just need to put these on classified.
No, the TR3As didn't come with any door pulls like the TR4, but you can use the cable in the door pocket if you have the side curtains on. Otherwise, I just use the top of the door and only use that cable to open the door.
BTW, the TR2/TR3 door pulls are just an outside version of the latch pulls of the TR3A. They are a little more convenient to use as a pull then the ones inside the door. If anyone needs them, they are available from Macy's Garage.
Probably due to definition of door pulls. I think you are referring to the chrome handles on the TR4s that you pull to shut the doors. Not used on TR3s. The cable inside the door pocket on TR3s has also been called a door pull but used to unlatch and open the door. Tom
