Interior coolant leak

Hello all,

Just returned from a summer stay in the UK. You should see all the daily driving Spitfires and MGB-GTs over there.

Anyway, I had a buddy start my TR6 once a week and allow it to reach operating temp. When I came home, the battery was still charged, but there was a pool of green liquid in my passenger floorboard (no carpets yet). Can this be anything but a heater core leak?

Heater core or hoses.
 
Better to leak now than after the carpets are in.

If it's not the core, replace all hoses and the dual fitting & gasket that goes into the fire wall to the outer hoses as well.

Or else it is some of that pea-green puke like in 'The Exorcist'. Most likely a hose fitting or hose which would be easy to spot and quick & cheap to fix.
 
Try shutting of the heater (Heat Valve) and run it up with yer''ead in the passenger footwell (yes, with safety glasses on and a towel handy) have a look see if the leak is at the fire wall, hoses or from the heater core it self
 
Found the split hose--from the firewall to my heater core. Do I have to drain the coolant or is there a way to cheat the syphon?
