Was driving today and got passed by two modified Ford F350s. Dualies, crew cab, custom paint, custom rims, loud spund system, young guys (not cowboys ;) ) driving. One was diesel for sure. Not what I might choose to customize but, diffrn't strokes I suppose.

Kids are getting trucks because insurance is cheaper. Then they start the tuning and customizing as they have a vehicle. Cannot figure out how or where the money comes from as they complain about fuel prices all the time. In my small town, I have seen 15 kids with their individually tricked out trucks. They congregate in the park with stereos loud. Cops usually have to remove them from park as it closes at 11P and they cannot tell time.

A lot of the kids here are drivin' around in "mudders." Need a boarding ladder to get into the cab. They're being outnumbered by the fools with 21"+ shiny rims/tires and paste-on portholes. And stereos blasting out rap-crap at decibel levels to shatter windows on either side of the street... I want a directional RF/EMF pulse generator!!!

I have a buddy that is an electronics repairman and always has a very nice and very loud stereo in anything he drives, he also really likes novelty songs. Anytime someone pulls up next to him playing their rap too loud, he cranks up 'poisoning pigeons in the park,' 'I've got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts,' 'The Lumberjack Song,' or something else equally appropriate to blast the offenders out of their car with.
