Interesting SU carburetter application

I made a recent post in the Triumph section on SU carburetor shafts so instead of cutting and drilling this morning I procrastinated on the Internet looking for SU inspiration and found this. I thought at first that it was 16 cylinders but looking closer see that it’s 32. Perhaps someone else would enjoy wasting his or her time too. Pretty interesting. Maybe a Napier Sabre 24 cylinder H configured engine? British, of course, if it is. Where do you put your feet?

Anthony, You doubt! Well, I wish I could tell you it's legit. All I know is it came up when I typed "SU Carburetors" into Google. (Feet may be the least of his worries, I wouldn't sit where he is sitting either.)

While I agree it is a 24 cylinder engine, I believe it is in a W configuration. Very cool, even if it is scary and impractical both.

Only problem I can see with it is, it'll take a ful tank of gas just to get it started! :jester:
