Wouldn't surprise me. I have a cousin who's late 70s and when younger paid a bundle for a couple of 57 Chevys. He and his wife had dated in one back early 60s so always wanted to recreate the experience. We tend to want what we remember from our youth, maybe had one and got rid of it, maybe always wanted one and couldn't afford it. Back when I was a kid the thing you saw at shows were Model T and Model A Fords owned by guys who were young in that per W2 period, Later 50s and 60s classics. I have British because I was introduced in my teens in the 70s. So those approaching or at middle age these days would remember those 70s and 80s that they saw in the streets, TV, movies and such.
