Interesting ride this morning........

Wife and I went for a ride early this morning to run a few errands and decided to head south where I guy I work with said there were 2 what he thought were MG's selling for $900.00 sitting out front. Found the place, a used parts (junk) place and sitting in front were 2 69's, a MGB and a Midget. Both looked a little rough, rust in the usual areas, but the Midget still had the BL am radio. Unfortunately the place was closed.

Told the wife I should buy the Midget for my grandson, she said "gee - if it's $900.00 for both you might as well get both of them".

Monday morning I need to make a call....Hmmmmmmm.....

& the MGB isn't a '69 either...but, great find anyway...you might get lucky & have 2 restorable MG's for $900! I'd call that a "Tony"!

Oh, for those of you looking for the BL or British Motor Coproration radios - they're nothing but Panasonics that the US distributor but nameplates on! If you find the nameplates, you can usually find a modern radio they'll fit in! Some were AM...some were AM/FM...& I have one that's an AM/FM/Cassette (I picked it off the rack for the dealer to install in my '79 when I bought it new)!!
