It's been too cold to work on the cars so I decided to take some time to sort through my TR archives. I came across this interesting TR5 photo in the Nov. 1991 issue of Practical Classics magazine. Something doesn't look correct, does it? :jester:

Maybe the chassis was put on backwards

must have been since this predates digital photography

or maybe this engine was installed backwards.

Photoshop was around, but this is simply a flipped photo.

Would def go for a TR5/250...anyone care to comment on the driving experience of the 6 when fuel injected?

I think TR5s, by definition were all PI. A non-PI TR5 is a TR250.

Frank must have thought we were all batty.

When the British build them for right side steering, they go all the way? Everything gets reversed. or Remember the old Vincent Price horror movie "The Fly" Everything came out backwards when it went through the transporter machine. The negative reversed is too boring an explanation.

Nice'

I thing the photographer was dyslectic'

Oh FINE!! That's it! Always blame th' photographer!!!

Didja ever consider there's an "ART DIRECTOR" between the guy makin' the image and the page it ends up on?!? HUMMM??? Well. DIDj'A?!?! Some 'person' who decides th' "balance" of th' page needs "something"?? Like some compositional feng shui or suchlike?!? :wall: :madder:

....please 'scuse me th' li'l outburst... bit tetchy 'bout them guys wot decide things need t' be ummm, "directed"...

Ever see a cat mark territory? them folks are of th' same mentality IMO. And doin' th' same thing. :jester:

As an ex chief photographer for a few publications back in the 1980's....I can tell you we flipped a lot of images to have them display correctly on the page.

Nothing worse than a guy looking off the newspaper or magazine....very few people ever noticed. I might have slowed down on this one before approving...car people are a little particular
