Interesting Midget For Sale.

What is the switch to the lower right of the temperature gauge? I found a similar switch under the dash of my '69 Sprite. It didn't seem to do anything.
 
If it is not full of rust/bondo that is a heck'uv a deal. MkI Midget prices are going up.
 
That would be a neat project for someone. Cool bit of history there.
 
I really like these light, simple, early square-body Spridgets.
Although it would be pretty easy to take a newer car and retro-fit a lot of parts to make an early-type clone.
