Tried, but not quite. Quarter glass big spotting feature, yes, VW headlamps....and bolt-on wires? How much of it is fibreglas?

Not bad overall....if it was mine, the distributor would be in front and there would be Ford emblems on the rocker covers.

Agree with you TOC, but most rodders have too much money in mods to afford Ford power.

Caterham, yes... but a pal has one with a 2L Ztec, Webers and MSD. Thing will scare th' bejeezus outta ya in an eyeblink! Wit a flat-head V-8 you'd be swappin' ends constantly!

Can't decide if the front view looks more like a vacuum cleaner or a catfish, but either way a definite step down from the original aesthetic. Some decently done elements but like almost all owner modded bodies, quite awkward from some angles.

Have two 50's I drive regularly....both Merc cranks and slugs. Tudor and F-1.

The 3/4 Merc was in my 49 Willys wagon....not sure if that will ever get done, but the mill is!
