Interesting Early Sprite

From the ad: "The car is funny with the way that you have to pump the brakes and clutch but everything does work"

Correct me if I'm wrong -- but brakes aren't normally supposed to be "pumped" to work unless there is an issue like air in the lines or a bad m/c? I don't think you're supposed to pump a clutch either?

You arecorrect .

I understand pumping the brakes, but the clutch?

Clutch is hydraulic after all. Had to do that on my old MGB for a while before I finally bled the clutch out properly.

Had to pump my clutch when the slave was failing. This car has a lot to do for $12,500. I might have thought several thousand less.
