First a bit of history. Toronto has been under a stay at home order since Boxing Day (Dec 26). Monday this was downgraded to Grey Zone - lockdown.

In this stage, grocery stores and pharmacies and things like gas stations are the only thing open for in store shopping - oh yes liquour store too.

Now we are still in lockdown but at least stores are open for in person (25% capacity). So today we went to the mall to grab a few things. Time warp time! Everything was closed Dec 26 so all the stores were filled with Christmas Stock! AND Pottery Barn was still playing Christmas Music. Apparently corporate hasn't sent the new sound track and they are required to keep playing this one - staff were going crazy!

So, Merry Christmas all and if you aren't finished your Christmas shopping I know a place.

Maybe people should just go ho ho ho-me.

In Memphis area, I drive by more than a few houses that still have Christmas decorations out and on. Either a really early start, or they have figured this whole holiday thing out in ways I can't imagine.

Unfortunately, we can’t get there from here.

My former brother in law never took his tree down. He would just cover it up until the next year.

JP,
Still up from last year.

There used to be a guy who drove around in a '63 Buick Special wagon.
He put his Christmas tree on the roof,& it kept looking sadder & sadder, the
longer he kept it on there.

Years ago I was helping a couple move into their new home - it was a farm and they were getting the farmhouse while his parents moved into a new home on the property. In a porch off the master was the family Christmas tree, they just wrapped it in saran, set it aside and set it out the next year.
