TR6 intake question ?

I am installing the manifold and exhaust headers on the 250 with a TR6 engine. The exhaust headers match perfect. But the intake ports are off by about 3/16" I noticed it when I disassembled the engine but did not think much about it. My question is how many diffrent intake manifolds were there for the six cylinder engine? The number on the head is 218227 , and numbers on the intake are bV3265 and 88312187.

There are 2 different intake port differences.
Early and late 29-71= early
After= later
You can't matcg a later head with that 250 intake

Sounds like you need the later ( and better) intake manifold. I have spares

Don't bother. I had the wrong gasket.
I had the gasket for the early 6 cylinder.

Good, I forgot to look for the intake. You DO have the later intake. I got sidetracked, Oh look a fire! Actually another car.
